Endorsement deals.

Yesterday, I stumbled across an advertisement featuring an HP line of customizable cards and whatnot designed by Qwen Stefani. For some reason this struck me as really odd. Then again I find the idea the notion of Madonna writing children’s stories quite bizarre as well. There are some celebrity faces who belong with products like Skagen watches, designer bags, and luxury perfumes and I would count Qwen and Madonna among this crowd. One the other hand if she truly did design these cards then kudos to her for finding a way to express her artistic side and make a buck at the same time. The skeptical side of me always thinks that these types of things are in name only. Does anyone really believe that George Foreman actually invented his grill? Maybe he did but I think not.
