Casts are not fun.

I remember when I was in high school it was the coolest thing to get a cast. I guaranteed that you got to leave class early and that someone else could go with you to carry your books. Being 39 years old and getting a cast is not as cool. All of of this sitting around and doing nothing makes me think I am going to have to invest in treatment for hemorrhoids when everything is said and done. Not being able to get up and move around much is not good for any part of your body. I can only imagine how out of shape I am going to be when I finally get this thing off. I daydream that the doctor will take the cast off next week and give me a lighter and smaller one. My wife thinks this is a pipe dream since the cast has only been on about 2 weeks. I just hope when I finally do get it off that I can walk normal and don’t have to go through a bunch of physical therapy.
